Thank You!

Six months ago yesterday, I decided to finally jump into the blogging world. After years of wanting to start a blog, but always finding reasons not to, I set a goal and accomplished it! My goal was to regularly post at least twice a week, with original content, for six months and see how I felt about continuing.

All I really wanted to do was have a place to share things, I never expected I would gain so much or be so inspired by the stories shared by others. This blog has been so much more of an influence in my life than I ever imagined it could be. Needless to say, I will be sticking with it.

So today I am sending out big thanks to all of my followers, thank you for your support, encouragement, inspiration and gentle hugs. Thank you for sharing your stories and reminding me that we are never alone in our struggles. ❤

I have been spending most of this week working on homeschool preparation…again. I got sucked into one of those seemingly endless rabbit holes, this one was called Lapbooking. We will be using them for our U.S. State and World Country studies and I am so happy to say that we are all set. All I need to do is print when we are ready. I will share more about them next week for my fellow homeschoolers.

I can not believe it is almost August, where did July go? Have a great weekend!

  1. Thank you! I started my blog a week ago as therapy! My doctor suggested it to help me deal with my chronic pain from fibromyalgia. Getting my site set up and my first post out certainly has helped get my mind off my own problems. I love the new blogs I have found to follow!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing your story! It’s so inspiring to hear from other people (especially young women) who are going through the same thing. It’s difficult to find someone with fibromyalgia who is close to my age and easier to relate to. And the fact that you can deal with this illness AND be such an involved mother truly amazes me. Thank you again and I hope you stay blogging for a very long time!

  3. Glad you began the journey, stay with it. I enjoy reading your post and thankful someone reads mine…lol
I’ve met some more people in my exercise class and there have been some new members who has fibromyalgia and giving the water aerobics a try. One lady I spoke with suggested trying Tai Chi she’s been doing it for her fibromyalgia and arthritis and loves it. Another suggested yoga stretch as it’s not hard on your body either… So I haven’t tried either but thinking about it *gotta get over the fear
